Please refrain from booking if you are currently taking or have taken Accutane in the last 12 months, used topical retinoids (such as Retin-A or Tretinoin) in the area within the past 7-14 days, or injectables within the last 2 weeks. Additionally, do not book if you have an active eye, skin, or infection (like conjunctivitis, styes, cold sores, fungal or bacterial infections), or if you are contagious with any illness.  Please be aware, If you are currently taking any medications, including certain oral antibiotics, you may be ineligible for treatment as they can cause blood thinning or photosensitivity, making skin more sensitive to waxing. Please do not book if your skin barrier is compromised (including Sunburns, Windburns, Rashes, Cuts, Abrasions, or any open wounds near the treatment area). Avoid booking within 7-14 days of microdermabrasion or light chemical peels, and 1 year of laser skin resurfacing treatments. It is advised to avoid coffee prior to your appointment as caffeine can cause an increase in pain sensitivity. Female clients may experience increased sensitivity to waxing up to a week before the start of their menstrual cycle due to water retention.​​
